Emerging details reveal an alleged terror plot tied to a UFC event near the White House. Authorities have arrested five suspects across four states for plotting explosive drone attacks, sniper ambushes, and more. They seized guns, ammunition, tactical gear, and phone screenshots of potential targets.
Authorities have released the mugshots of all five suspects, including one suspect smiling. These individuals are accused of planning a “mass casualty event” targeting President Donald Trump and other officials during the UFC Freedom 250 event at the White House.
The arrests occurred as part of a multi-state operation. Federal authorities claim the suspects coordinated an attack involving explosive-laden drones, sniper teams, and safe houses to support an assault during the event.
U.S. Attorney for the District of Columbia, Jeanine Pirro, stated her office is not handling the case, despite the plot targeting a White House event. “We do not have a piece of that case,” Pirro said.
Prosecutors need activity within the district to establish jurisdiction.
Abraham Hermosillo Alvarez, 31, identified by prosecutors as the ringleader, was involved in planning the attack on the White House UFC event. Tycen C. Proper, 19, from Ohio, compiled a target list of 46 individuals, spending $3,000 on weapons and tactical gear.
Moreover, Bryan Omar Roa, 24, from California, was charged with conspiracy to commit murder. He allegedly participated in encrypted group communications discussing the operation.
Michael Alan Thomas, 32, from California, discussed contingency plans if group members were arrested. He suggested helping co-conspirators escape custody.
“We will try to break them out of jail if we need to,” said Thomas, according to court documents.
Daniel K. Eskridge, 32, from Missouri, offered his property as a safe house and discussed constructing a bunker. Prosecutors allege he participated in conversations about acquiring explosive materials.
Alvarez used coded references in encrypted chats about intended targets, including Trump, Vice President JD Vance, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, and Elon Musk. The plan allegedly involved drones detonating above the crowd, directing attendees toward a southern evacuation point, where snipers awaited.
Investigators allege the group discussed obtaining military ordnance after failing to manufacture explosives themselves. One proposal targeted the Kansas Army Ammunition Plant.
