TNA Announces New Knockouts TV Championship Tournament

Total Nonstop Action Wrestling (TNA) revealed a significant update for their women’s division during Slammiversary. A new tournament will determine the first Knockouts TV champion.
Traci Brooks, renowned in TNA, shared the announcement with fans in Boston. The tournament will feature 16 women and begin during “Impact” on Thursday. The championship belt will be defended on the television show exclusively.

The tournament bracket includes seasoned wrestlers and new talents:
- Indi Hartwell vs. Vicki Venuto
- Harley Hudson vs. Thea Hail
- Elayna Black vs. Wendy Choo
- M by Elegance vs. Rosemary
- Jade Stone vs. Alisha Edwards
- Jody Threat vs. Gabby Forza
- Mara Sadè vs. Tasha Steelz
- Heather by Elegance vs. Allie
Fans can watch the first matches on AMC this Thursday night at 9 p.m. ET.
Heather by Elegance and Allie will clash again, following their previous encounter at Slammiversary. Allie and Rosemary secured the TNA Knockouts World Tag Team Championship then.
Other matches on “Impact” will include Leon Slater vs. Eddie Edwards, Ryan Nemeth vs. KC Navarro, and an X Division No. 1 contenders match featuring Fabian Aichner, Mr. Elegance, BDE, Rich Swann, and Home Town Man.
New TNA world champion Nic Nemeth and women’s champion Xia Brookside will discuss their victories with the audience. Ricky Sosa will also make an appearance.
