Ana Navarro Discusses Hunter Biden’s Public Persona and Financial Scrutiny

Ana Navarro, co-host of ‘The View,’ recently expressed admiration for Hunter Biden, describing him as ‘riveting’ and ‘the biggest troll’ during the ABC show’s ‘Behind the Table’ podcast. Navarro previewed their 90-minute interview and commented on what she sees as differing levels of scrutiny between Hunter Biden’s income from Burisma and the Trump family’s earnings during Donald Trump’s presidency.

Navarro remarked, ‘The monetization of the presidency, the fact that Hunter got dragged through the coals and brought into a congressional hearing by Republicans for the money that he was making in Burisma, which is not even chump change in comparison to the billions of dollars that the Trump family has made off the presidency.’

This comparison was part of several ‘double standards’ Navarro discussed during an interview on her ‘Bleep! with Ana Navarro’ podcast.

Navarro highlighted Hunter Biden’s humorous engagement on social media. In response to a user who accused him of being responsible for cocaine found at the White House in July 2023, Biden jokingly replied, ‘No, I would have never forgotten my coke.’ The Secret Service concluded its investigation without identifying a suspect, although the FBI reopened the case in 2025.

Navarro described her conversation with Biden as ‘riveting’ from beginning to end and praised his social media interactions for their humor and engagement. ‘We talked for over an hour and a half,’ she said. Unfortunately, the timing of the interview coincided with a World Cup match, which may have impacted its viewership.

The House Oversight Committee reported that Burisma paid Hunter Biden and his business associate Devon Archer $1 million each annually after joining its board in 2014, during which Hunter’s father, Joe Biden, was engaged in U.S. policy toward Ukraine as Vice President.

In February 2024, Hunter Biden participated in a closed-door House deposition amid a Republican-led impeachment inquiry into President Biden. The full House did not vote on articles of impeachment.

Navarro defended Hunter Biden’s art sales as having undergone scrutiny. She stated, ‘And while his father was president, he didn’t make any money. He made money off his paintings… every painting he sold had to go through vetting, and he had been painting his entire life.’

The White House refuted Navarro’s comparison, highlighting that Trump’s children independently developed successful businesses. Steven Cheung, White House communications director, commented to Fox News Digital, saying Hunter Biden’s credibility was questionable.

Georges Bergès, Biden’s former gallerist, testified that Biden did not fully know his buyers until after September 2021. Reports indicate that ten buyers paid $1.5 million for his artwork, with Biden receiving $900,000.

Reuters estimated in June that Trump and his sons accrued at least $2.3 billion through their primary cryptocurrency ventures upon Trump’s return to the White House. Trump claimed he did not manage his personal finances.
