Influencer brothers Andrew and Tristan Tate were arrested in Miami following new rape and sex trafficking charges from U.K. prosecutors. The Crown Prosecution Service in Britain cited evidence from Bedfordshire Police, which pointed to four additional victims. The allegations include rape, assault, trafficking, and offenses involving indecent images of a child and extreme pornography. This brings the total number of alleged victims in the U.K. to seven. The brothers deny any wrongdoing.

Andrew Tate, 39, and Tristan Tate, 38, are U.S.-British dual citizens with a significant presence on social media. Andrew, a former professional kickboxer, has over 10 million followers on X despite being banned from YouTube, TikTok, and Instagram for hate speech violations. He runs an online academy claiming to teach young men about wealth and relationships. Tristan also has a kickboxing background. Both brothers support U.S. President Donald Trump.
Details of the Charges
Andrew Tate faces charges in the U.K. for offenses dating between 2010 and 2017, including seven counts of rape and facilitating sexual exploitation. He also faces 19 charges related to indecent images. Tristan Tate’s charges involve sexual assault and sex trafficking. The Crown Prosecution Service is seeking their extradition to the U.K. from the U.S.
Previously, the Tates faced allegations of rape, bodily harm, and human trafficking related to other victims in the U.K. In June, a legal attempt by the brothers to learn their accusers’ names was denied by a U.K. High Court judge.
In Romania, the brothers were arrested in 2022 with two Romanian women, accused of luring women for sexual exploitation, though they deny these charges. The Romanian case faces legal hurdles but is not closed. Andrew Tate claims the allegations are part of a political conspiracy against him.
Presence in the U.S.
The Tates were reportedly in the U.S. following the lifting of travel restrictions in Romania in February 2025. British authorities had sought their extradition after Romanian legal proceedings, but the brothers left Romania on a private jet to Florida. Romania’s foreign minister mentioned U.S. interest in the Tates’ legal situation, though former President Trump denied involvement in their release.
