Tyreek Hill is a highly regarded wide receiver in the National Football League (NFL), currently playing for the Miami Dolphins. Known for his competitive edge, Hill has achieved numerous accolades and holds several records from his time with the Kansas City Chiefs.
Before turning professional, Hill played college football across the United States. He was part of programs at Garden City Community College, Oklahoma State University, and the University of West Alabama.
In the 2016 NFL Draft, the Kansas City Chiefs selected Hill in the fifth round. Throughout his seven seasons in the NFL, which have included stints with two franchises, Hill has earned over $65 million. His largest annual payout was in the 2022 season when he received $26 million with the Dolphins.
Hill’s career statistics are impressive. He has over 500 receptions, more than 7,700 receiving yards, 744 rushing yards, and over 1,000 return yards. He also has 59 receiving touchdowns. While with the Chiefs from 2016 to 2021, Hill set franchise records, including the most receptions in a season, the most receiving yards in a season, and the most touchdown receptions in a single season.
Initially joining the NFL as a return specialist, Hill quickly transitioned to the wide receiver role with great success. Known for his combination of speed and field effectiveness, he has been named to six Pro Bowls. Hill was also part of the NFL 2010s All-Decade Team as a punt returner.
Among his significant achievements, Hill won a Super Bowl title in 2020 with the Kansas City Chiefs. During Super Bowl LIV, the Chiefs, led by quarterback Patrick Mahomes, defeated the San Francisco 49ers with a final score of 31-20.
