President Donald Trump was seen disembarking Air Force One at Joint Base Andrews, Maryland, on July 19, 2026. His arrival followed a visit to the World Cup final soccer match. On Monday, Trump departed Michigan aboard the Air Force One 757, now featuring a new color scheme. According to Ana Ceballos, a Washington Correspondent for the Los Angeles Times, the plane boasts a dark blue design with a gold stripe and red trim. This update aligns with the color scheme of a Qatari jet gifted to the president.
Ceballos noticed the new look as the presidential motorcade arrived at Oakland County International Airport in Michigan. The president was returning to Washington, D.C. During his visit to the swing state, Trump spoke about economic challenges at the General Motors Milford Proving Ground in Michigan. He addressed rally attendees, vowing economic progress by emphasizing tariffs. Trump criticized previous leaders, claiming auto workers and manufacturers were ‘sold out’ and ‘betrayed’ by globalist politicians and ‘corrupt special interests.’
The president accused these former leaders of allowing foreign countries to ‘steal your jobs, pillage your factories, and loot the crown jewels’ of American industry, particularly in Detroit and across the nation.
