Diane Farr Bids Farewell to Los Angeles After 30 Years

“Fire Country” star Diane Farr has moved away from Los Angeles after spending three decades in the city. The 56-year-old actress shared a heartfelt message on Instagram, detailing her “Last Day in LA” and emphasizing her choice to make Los Angeles her home.

Farr explained that she wasn’t born in LA, nor did she attend school there. She moved from New York City at the age of 26, pursuing opportunities in acting. Her post captures the essence of her journey, noting the difficulty of moving without seeing the friends she loves due to the hectic process.

Her acting career took off in the ’90s, with a significant role in “Roswell” in 1999. Farr later starred in “Numb3rs,” “Splitting Up Together,” and most recently, “Fire Country.” Alongside her professional achievements, she cherished the experiences of raising a family in Los Angeles.

“I also got to raise babies in the sun and the mountains,” Farr wrote, reflecting on her time in LA. She acknowledged the blessings and expressed hope that she gave back enough to the city that shaped her family’s life.

Diane Farr shares three children with ex-husband Seung Yong Chung: an 18-year-old son, Beckett, and 17-year-old twin daughters, Coco and Sawyer.

The actress shared a video documenting her final moments in the city, including farewells to her home and motorcycle, and her departure in a 15-foot truck. As she moves into what she calls her “third act,” Farr hints at exploring new countries.

“We are just taking a hiatus now,” she concluded, expressing the emotional challenge of leaving her home and fulfilled dreams, yet remaining optimistic about the future.
