Crow-Armstrong referenced a conversation initiated by Mariners pitcher Tayler Saucedo, who suggested that the scarcity of video evidence of Ruth’s gameplay could imply that Ruth was more mythical than real. This perspective intrigued Crow-Armstrong, leading him to delve further into the notion. “People might as well have been underhanding the ball to that guy, and he’s regarded, still, as one of the best players ever,” Crow-Armstrong pondered, highlighting how much the sport has evolved over a century.

Despite Crow-Armstrong’s intriguing theory, Carson Kelly reacted with laughter, expressing disbelief. The discussion briefly likened the claim to conspiracy theories surrounding the moon landing before shifting topics.
