He described an incident involving water as “horseplay.” Moreno has accused Miller of violent behavior, claiming he scalded her with hot water and fractured their daughter’s collarbone.

Sen. Bernie Moreno, Emily’s father, has criticized Miller, suggesting he poses a risk to his granddaughter and questioning his suitability for office. The controversy threatens Miller’s candidacy as Republicans aim to maintain their narrow majority in upcoming elections. Miller previously won his seat with a significant margin, but concerns grow about the potential for his Democratic opponent, Brian Poindexter, to win given the ongoing allegations.
