Ancient Hohokam Bone Discovered Near Tucson, Arizona
A recent discovery near Tucson, Arizona, unearthed a human bone believed to have ancient origins. Found a few miles from Nancy Guthrie’s home, this bone is considered to belong to the Hohokam people. The Hohokam culture is regarded as an ancestral group to modern Native Americans in the region.
The bone, thought to date back approximately 750 years, was identified by a YouTuber exploring the area. Local police, together with an archaeological expert, determined the remains are not connected to any crime scene. Instead, they offer a glimpse into the lives of a civilization that thrived long before modern habitation.
The aerial view of Nancy Guthrie’s home in Tucson, taken on March 2, captures the landscape where this significant find occurred. The discovery highlights the rich historical tapestry of Arizona, underscoring the enduring legacy of its ancient inhabitants, the Hohokam people.
