Tragic Case of Suspected Domestic Homicide in Frankfort

Frankfort police have reported a tragic incident involving a 2-year-old child found unresponsive in a home on Tuesday. The child, later pronounced dead at the hospital, is suspected to be a victim of domestic-related homicide. Officers responding to the scene on the 22700 block of Brook Stone Court discovered the child’s mother attempting self-harm. She was taken to a hospital where her injuries were deemed nonlife-threatening. Emergency workers reached the location at 4:04 p.m. and administered CPR to the child, but despite efforts the child was declared dead at the hospital.

The Frankfort police expressed their condolences in a news release, stating, “Our thoughts are with everyone affected by this tragedy.” They urged the community to come together with compassion, understanding, and strength during this challenging time.
