A recent survey conducted by Marsh, a consulting firm, reveals that employers anticipate a substantial rise in health insurance costs next year. The study involved over 1,800 employers, who forecast an 8.2% increase in the expenses of employer-sponsored health insurance for 2027 compared to this year.
This predicted spike represents the most considerable rise in more than two decades. Analysis of responses indicates several factors contributing to the escalating costs. Overall, the surge is expected to be the highest recorded since 2003.
