Fatal Car Accident in Los Angeles Trader Joe’s Parking Lot

Authorities reported a tragic incident at a Trader Joe’s parking lot near the Grove in Los Angeles, where a vehicle collision resulted in one fatality and injuries to four others. The accident occurred on Thursday afternoon near the intersection of 3rd Street and Fairfax Avenue.

The Los Angeles Fire Department responded at 1:21 p.m. to the crash, where a woman in her 80s, driving a car, collided with several pedestrians and a security stand. One individual was declared dead at the scene. The other four injured individuals were taken to a hospital for treatment.

Helicopter footage from KTLA revealed paramedics attending to the injured at the scene. The vehicle involved, a white sedan with significant front-end damage, was found pinned against a damaged structure. A white canopy was set up over the body of the deceased, and an elderly woman was seen being assisted in a wheelchair by firefighters.

Details about the identity of the deceased and the cause of the accident have not been publicly disclosed as the Los Angeles Police Department continues their investigation.
