WWE star Nattie faces a crucial challenge on Friday night as she competes in a fatal four-way match to become the No. 1 contender for the AAA Reina de Reinas Championship at Triplemania 34 Night 1 in Las Vegas.
Nattie will battle three opponents: Faby Apache, La Hiedra, and Roxanne Perez. This match holds significant importance for Nattie, who aims to prove herself and earn another opportunity to win a women’s championship.
Faby Apache and La Hiedra are well-known figures in Mexico’s Lucha Libre scene. These two wrestlers bring a rich history of wrestling lineage to the match. Faby Apache’s family has deep wrestling roots. Her mother, father, and sister all wrestled professionally. La Hiedra also comes from a family with a long wrestling tradition.
Nattie acknowledged the challenge she faces against these seasoned luchadoras, as well as Roxanne Perez, who makes her debut in AAA. “They’ve always worked in AAA and are new to WWE fans,” Nattie noted in an interview. “But they have earned their spots, and we’re all fighting for the same goal—to showcase our skills and earn a shot at championship gold.”
For Nattie, the motivation to win is clear. “I fight to do everything,” she said. “Every match is another chance to prove myself and demonstrate that my career is far from over.” She aims to emulate the work ethic of wrestlers like Rey Mysterio, who continue to challenge themselves to reach new heights.
Nattie’s determination is fueled by a desire to overcome any sense of being overlooked, and her reputation as the “Lowkey Legend” adds to her resolve. “I love working with AAA,” she shared. “This is not about personal feelings towards the other contenders. We’re all here to prove who deserves this spot.”
Winning at Triplemania 34 will grant Nattie a title match at Worlds Collide at the end of the month. Current champion Lady Flammer, who holds the Reina de Reinas title, will defend it against La Catalina on Night 2 in Mexico City.
Reflecting on her past experiences, Nattie shared how competing in previous matches, such as against Faby Apache and Flammer, has honed her skills. “I remember Undertaker watching me throw punches at Faby,” she recalled. “He hadn’t seen anything like it. That’s the difference I bring as ‘Lowkey Legend’.”
Despite previous accomplishments, including seven Guinness World Records and numerous match appearances, Nattie remains driven to keep proving herself. “You need to be at your best every single day,” she emphasized. “The rent is due.”
As Nattie prepares for the match, she knows the stakes are high. “I’m ready to test myself against these talented women from various promotions. This sold-out Vegas show will be the ideal stage.”
