Roxanne Perez Wins No. 1 Contender Spot at Triplemania 34

Roxanne Perez Triumphs in Las Vegas

Las Vegas witnessed a thrilling spectacle as Roxanne Perez successfully secured the No. 1 contender position for the AAA Reina de Reinas Championship. Perez displayed resilience and tenacity on Friday night at Triplemania 34.

In this high-stakes match, she faced formidable opponents including WWE’s Nattie and AAA stars La Hiedra and Faby Apache. The victory ensures Perez an opportunity to compete for the Reina de Reinas Championship at Worlds Collide. Her future opponent will be either the reigning champion Flammer or La Catalina, who are set to clash on Night 2 in Mexico City.

A Grueling Challenge at MGM Grand Garden Arena

The match, held at MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas on September 11, 2026, was intense. Early on, Perez had to navigate the hostility as her contenders teamed up against her, ejecting her from the ring. Flammer even attempted to assist La Hiedra in securing the win.

Perez, however, showed strategic prowess. She maneuvered La Hiedra into Flammer and delivered a decisive Pop Rox to pin La Hiedra, cementing her triumph. Post-match tensions arose between La Hiedra and Flammer, but Perez remained focused on her upcoming challenge.

Perez’s Determination and Focus

Prior to the match, Perez expressed her resolve to OutKick Dropkick, acknowledging the significant opportunity before her. She stressed the importance of not underestimating her opponents, each with legendary status in diverse wrestling disciplines.

“It’s a big task. I have an opportunity ahead, and I’m determined to become Reina de Reinas champion,” Perez stated. She recognized her opponents’ legacies, from La Hiedra’s AAA expertise to Nattie’s trailblazing WWE journey and Faby Apache’s Lucha Libre contributions.

Despite the weight of expectations, Perez remains confident in her abilities. Her ten-year wrestling journey has prepared her for this moment, and she intends to seize the opportunity she has long awaited.

Roxanne Perez now anticipates facing either Flammer or La Catalina at the month’s end, aiming to claim the prestigious championship.
