During a fatal hit-and-run investigation on Monday night in Northeast Miami-Dade, law enforcement encountered an unexpected development. A vehicle approached them with a passenger who had been shot, according to the sheriff’s office.
At approximately 11:42 p.m., deputies were focused on the scene of the fatal crash when individuals arrived with the injured man. The shooting incident occurred at Zippy Coin Laundry, located at 14701 NE Sixth Ave.
Miami-Dade Fire Rescue transported the wounded man to HCA Aventura Hospital, where he remained in critical condition. Updates to this story may be provided as more details surface.
