Tarek and Heather El Moussa Experience Home Burglary

Tarek and Heather El Moussa discovered their Southern California home had been burglarized while they were on vacation. The couple, known for their work on reality TV, felt ‘violated’ after the break-in at their Newport Beach residence.

The incident occurred as the El Moussas were vacationing with their family in Mexico. Newport Beach police responded to the burglary report at their home after 6 p.m. on June 8, according to officials.

Details of the Burglary

While the couple was away, unknown suspects gained access to the backyard. They shattered a rear sliding glass door to enter the house. Once inside, they ransacked the primary bedroom closet before fleeing the premises through the backyard.

The robbers stole jewelry from the residence. Police estimate the burglary happened between June 6 and June 8. As of now, no suspects have been identified.

Heather El Moussa expressed her feelings about the incident on social media. ‘Disgusted by some of the cruel, heartless people in this world,’ she shared on Instagram, tagging her husband.

Heather continued, ‘Tarek and I feel violated and, to be honest, really sad. Taking a break for a few days and will be back to explain soon.’ She assured followers that both they and their children are safe.

The couple welcomed their son, Tristan, in January 2023. Tarek El Moussa was previously married to Christina Haack, with whom he co-parents two children, Taylor and Brayden. Despite their divorce in 2018, the former couple continued to work together on HGTV’s show ‘The Flip Off.’
