25th Anniversary of 9/11 Commemoration at National 9/11 Memorial & Museum
On September 11, 2026, a solemn ceremony took place at the National 9/11 Memorial & Museum to mark 25 years since the terrorist attacks on the World Trade Center. Law enforcement officers carried the U.S. flag beside the reflecting pools, honoring the memory of those who lost their lives on that day.
The event in New York City brought together survivors, families of victims, first responders, and officials to pay tribute and reflect on the impact of the attacks that forever changed the nation. The ceremony included moments of silence, speeches, and the reading of names of the nearly 3,000 people who perished.
The annual commemoration serves as a reminder of resilience and the importance of unity in the face of tragedy. As attendees gathered to reflect on the day, there was an emphasis on never forgetting the sacrifices made and continuing to support those affected.
