F-16 Flyover for America’s 250th Birthday
Maj. Taylor Hiester, who leads the F-16 Demonstration Team, spoke about the upcoming flyover at the Great American State Fair in Washington D.C. This event celebrates America’s 250th birthday. Maj. Hiester emphasized the mission’s patriotic significance and drew inspiration from historic events such as Flight 93.
He made a special appeal to young people, encouraging them to pursue military careers and follow their dreams within the U.S. military.
Incident at March Air Reserve Base
An American Forces Network employee passed away on Tuesday following a vehicle collision near a military installation in California. This individual was discovered with a gunshot wound. The incident took place while they were commuting to work at March Air Reserve Base, located around 60 miles east of Los Angeles.
According to Riverside County Sheriff’s Department, both drivers involved were transported to a hospital. Initial reports suggested it was an assault with a deadly weapon, and California Highway Patrol officers confirmed both drivers were in critical condition.
The investigation is being led by the Moreno Valley Investigation Bureau, and no further details have been provided as it continues.
