TNA Unveils Knockouts Television Championship at Slammiversary

Total Nonstop Action Wrestling (TNA) introduced a new championship title at Slammiversary in Boston. The Knockouts Television Championship was officially announced, adding more excitement to the wrestling event held on Sunday.

Traci Brooks, a TNA Hall of Famer, took the stage following Elayna Black’s victory over Indi Hartwell and Mara Sadè in the event’s pre-show. Brooks expressed the significance of the TNA Knockouts division over two decades, highlighting its impact on the professional wrestling scene.

The TNA Knockouts, over two decades, have changed the landscape of pro wrestling,” Brooks said. “The TNA Knockouts started the women’s revolution. We shattered glass ceilings. We rewrote the rules. We created opportunities and time and time again proved why we belong on the biggest stage. And now, it’s time to make history once again.

Brooks announced a 16-woman tournament set to start this Thursday night. This tournament will culminate in the crowning of the first-ever TNA Knockouts Television Champion. The championship belt displays the letters “KO” and “TV” in distinctive purple and black design.

While participants in the tournament have not yet been revealed, Black, Hartwell, and Sadè may compete in the upcoming matches featured on “Impact” television.
