George Clooney, renowned actor-producer, will receive the Golden Lion Lifetime Achievement Award at the Venice Film Festival in September. With a career spanning 48 years, Clooney remains one of Hollywood’s highest-grossing actors, having starred in over 50 films.
The Venice Film Festival is scheduled to take place from September 2-12 in Lido di Venezia. A perfect combination of star glamour, professionalism, and modern sensitivity,

Clooney’s filmography includes war movies like Three Kings and Syriana, thrillers such as Michael Clayton, sophisticated comedies like Ocean’s Eleven and O Brother Where Art Thou?, science fiction pieces Gravity and Solaris, and bittersweet comedies like The Descendants, Up In the Air, and Jay Kelly.
In addition to acting and producing, Clooney’s directing work has earned him recognition. He is one of only three stars nominated in six different Oscar categories: best picture, director, lead actor, supporting actor, original screenplay, and adapted screenplay, joining Alfonso Cuaron and Kenneth Branagh.
