President Trump to Present World Cup Trophy at Final Match

The U.S. President is scheduled to attend the FIFA World Cup final match between Argentina and Spain. The event will take place on Sunday at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey.

FIFA’s president, Gianni Infantino, mentioned that the plan involves President Donald Trump assisting in the presentation of the trophy following the match. The decision underscores the significance of the occasion as it draws global attention.

In August 2025, Trump admired the FIFA World Cup trophy alongside Gianni Infantino during a meeting in the Oval Office. This adds to the anticipation surrounding his involvement in the upcoming final.
