Pennsylvania School Bus Aide Arrested for Inappropriate Conduct with Special Needs Student

A school bus aide in Pennsylvania has been arrested for allegedly touching a 14-year-old girl with special needs inappropriately and taking photographs and videos of her, as reported by the police. Ali Khan, aged 62, faces charges including endangering the welfare of a child, corruption of minors, and indecent assault, according to the Bensalem Township Police Department.

Due to failure in posting 10% of his $500,000 bail, Khan remains at the Bucks County Correctional Facility. The girl’s parents alerted the police on July 30, claiming that the inappropriate incident occurred earlier that day. An investigation revealed that Khan allegedly touched the Bensalem High School student on July 29 and 30 while she was on the bus to the school’s extended program.

Surveillance footage from the bus reportedly shows Khan directing the student to a specific seat, followed by inappropriate touching. Allegedly, Khan engaged in sexual conduct and used a cellphone to record or photograph the girl. Bensalem Police commend the victim for her bravery in reporting the assault and acknowledge the Bensalem School District’s cooperation during the investigation.

The school district immediately removed Khan from his duties pending further inquiry. Emphasizing student safety, the district is working with law enforcement and conducting its own administrative review respecting the ongoing criminal investigation.

The footage also allegedly captured Khan engaging in inappropriate conduct with himself during the encounter. His preliminary hearing will take place on August 11, 2026, and the investigation is ongoing.
