I am a single woman who has been dealing with terminal cancer for nearly three years. Throughout this time, I have received various treatments. My sister, who resides at a distant location and with whom I have never shared a close relationship, rarely inquires about my well-being or that of my adult son during our conversations.

This lack of concern from her side has left me confused and hurt, given the severity of my condition.
