Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift’s Star-Studded Wedding

Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce experienced a memorable offseason with his recent marriage to Taylor Swift. Just before the training camp, Kelce and Swift held their dream wedding at Madison Square Garden.

The 36-year-old athlete spoke at the Chiefs’ training camp, reflecting on the wedding held in early July. “The wedding was the best night of my life, and I appreciate everyone who came and celebrated with us,” Kelce shared.

The ceremony took place on July 3, with approximately 1,000 guests attending, including notable figures such as Adam Sandler, Brad Pitt, Reese Witherspoon, Emma Stone, George Clooney, and Bradley Cooper.

Sports personalities also joined, including Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes and his wife Brittany. Tom Brady, Rob Gronkowski, and Caitlin Clark were also present. Chiefs head coach Andy Reid attended and jokingly noted the extensive dancing at the event, helping him stay in shape for the new season.

There were no traditional bridesmaids or groomsmen at the ceremony as reported by People. Austin Swift, Taylor’s brother, served as her “Man of Honor,” while Kelce’s older brother, Jason, was the “Best Man.”

The couple’s relationship started when Kelce publicly commented on Swift’s “New Heights” podcast. Swift shared with Time magazine that they began talking well before she was seen at a Chiefs game, allowing them time to know each other away from public attention.

Reflecting on their earlier interactions, Kelce joked in July 2023 about missing the chance to offer Swift a friendship bracelet during her concert tour. This gesture took place when Swift’s Eras Tour was in Kansas City. Moving forward, the couple became engaged, and Swift playfully announced, “Your English teacher and your gym teacher are getting married.”

Now, Kelce is preparing for his 14th NFL season. Though thoughts of retirement have surfaced in recent years, he confirmed he would continue playing at least one more season. In the 2025 season, Kelce caught 76 passes for 851 yards and scored five touchdowns over 17 games as part of the Chiefs.
