Patrick Mahomes Ranked No. 18 in NFL Top 100 Despite Injury-Plagued Season
Patrick Mahomes recently concluded the toughest season of his NFL career. He suffered a torn ACL in Week 15, abruptly ending his play for the Kansas City Chiefs’ 2025 season. The Chiefs ended with a 6-11 record, missing the playoffs for the first time in over a decade.
Despite the setback, Mahomes is still highly regarded by his fellow players. On Tuesday, NFL players voted him as the No. 18 player on the 2026 NFL Top 100 list.
The Chiefs reacted on social media, stating, “The no. 18 spot belongs to no. 15.”
Prior to his injury, Mahomes completed 62.7% of his passes, accumulating 3,587 yards, 22 touchdowns, and 11 interceptions. Additionally, he rushed for a career-high 422 yards, showcasing his dual-threat abilities.
Currently ahead of schedule in his recovery, Mahomes is on track to return for the Chiefs’ season opener. They will face the Denver Broncos on “Monday Night Football” on September 14.
