Sydney Sweeney, known for her role in “Euphoria,” has issued a playful challenge to Tom Cruise after performing a daring airplane stunt. On Monday, Sweeney posted a video on Instagram where she is seen strapped to the top of a moving airplane while holding a GoPro camera. The single-engine aircraft performed several upside-down maneuvers as Sweeney maintained her composure.
The actress captioned her post with a lighthearted warning to the famous stunt-loving actor: “watch out tom cruise.” In response, the official Top Gun Instagram account commented, “Feel the need for speed💥👏✈️.”
During the stunt, Sweeney dressed casually in leggings and a navy crew neck, with her hair styled in pigtail braids. The video showcased her poise amid the thrilling aerial display.
A few days before posting the stunt video, Sweeney shared glimpses of her summer adventures with her boyfriend, Scooter Braun, on Instagram. On August 22, she uploaded photos from a superhero-themed lakeside getaway with Braun, where they dressed as Wonder Woman and Superman, respectively.
The Instagram carousel from their retreat included images of Sweeney in a Wonder Woman-inspired corset costume and headband next to Braun in his Superman outfit. The post depicted the couple enjoying various activities, such as balancing on a water obstacle course and riding a jet ski.
Sweeney and Braun, who first sparked relationship rumors in 2025, confirmed their romance in April 2026 through an Instagram photo.
