‘Landman’ Production Delays Announced

Fans of “Landman” should prepare for a wait before new episodes are released. The successful series, created by Taylor Sheridan and featuring Billy Bob Thornton in a lead role, explores the oil industry in Texas. Like much of Sheridan’s work, the series combines dark moments with a mix of light-hearted comedy.

The show has garnered a strong fanbase. Viewers are eager for information on its return. Unfortunately, the new season won’t be arriving soon. The production of “Landman” has been postponed, with new episodes expected in 2027.

Season two concluded on January 18, 2026. Initially, there was hope for a 2026 premiere. However, this is not feasible. Star James Jordan revealed plans for production starting in September and continuing into 2027. This information, shared with Us Weekly, recently gained attention when highlighted by ScreenRant.

With production extending into early 2027, season three will not air in 2026. The earliest release might occur between May and late summer of 2027. Such delays are common in entertainment.

Ali Larter, a cast member, has defended Sheridan’s scriptwriting, addressing criticisms as unfounded. Despite any delays, expectations remain high. Fans anticipate a return of the show’s high quality.
