Quiet Month in Tornado Alley After Active April

Following an active April with several severe weather events, tornado activity has significantly decreased this month. The Great Plains, often referred to as Tornado Alley, has experienced an unusual period of calm. Meteorological forecasts show no significant threats in the near future.
