Miami Amazon Cargo Jet Crash Kills Five and Injures Others

Five individuals died when an Amazon cargo jet overran the runway at Miami International Airport. They were inside a van used for reaching planes to clean them. The crash occurred during the jet’s landing on Sunday afternoon. The aircraft went off its runway, hit the van on airport grounds, broke through a fence, and ended up on a local street where it destroyed an SUV.

Five more people sustained injuries in the incident. Miami-Dade County Sheriff Rosie Cordero-Stutz reported on Tuesday that the pilot and co-pilot have been released from the hospital. Two individuals remain critically injured, while one is in stable condition. The deceased were between 47 and 75 years old.
