Kamala Harris Criticizes Trump Administration Amid Security Concerns at Home
Former Vice President Kamala Harris strongly criticized the Trump administration, describing it as “the most corrupt, callous, and incompetent presidential administration we’ve ever seen.” She made these comments during a Democratic fireside chat. Fox News contributor Joe Concha responded by criticizing her “dangerous” rhetoric. He highlighted past threats against President Trump, suggesting her words could incite further political violence.
In related news, Los Angeles sheriff’s deputies were called to Harris’ home in Malibu after an uninvited woman appeared there twice. The woman, arriving in an Uber, initially attempted to contact security but was asked to leave. Upon returning, Harris’ security team contacted authorities after 10 p.m. The woman was not arrested according to FOX 11 reports.
Harris had her Secret Service detail revoked by President Donald Trump a year ago. This followed an extension by former President Joe Biden for a year beyond the customary six months given to former vice presidents. Following the recent incident, Lt. Jason Duron from the Malibu/Lost Hills sheriff’s station stated, “We are stepping up patrols of the property to be safe.”
Eduardo Negrón, a spokesman for Harris, told The Los Angeles Times, “Last night, security personnel stopped an individual who illegally entered Vice President Harris and Second Gentleman Doug Emhoff’s property before the individual reached the home. They are grateful to the security and law enforcement personnel who responded swiftly.” Neither Harris nor her husband were at home during the incident. The couple purchased the Malibu property in January of the previous year.
Harris, a native Californian, previously served as District Attorney of San Francisco, Attorney General of California, and a senator for the state before joining Biden’s presidential campaign. Meanwhile, the sheriff’s department and Harris’ representatives have yet to provide further comments on the security breach.
In another related instance of home invasions involving prominent political figures, a man who attacked former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s husband at their San Francisco residence with a hammer in 2022 received a life sentence without parole.
