The Philadelphia Eagles emerged with a close win against the Tennessee Titans this past Sunday, achieving a 24-20 final score thanks to a decisive touchdown pass by quarterback Jalen Hurts.
Despite securing 264 passing yards and two touchdowns, Jalen Hurts also recorded two interceptions during the game. The Eagles struggled to establish a strong running game, with Tank Bigsby leading the team in rushing, managing only 33 yards.
Under new offensive coordinator Sean Mannion, the Eagles have started the season with a 2-0 record. However, their offensive performance has not yet met the expectations set for them.
“I’m concerned. I don’t like what I’m seeing with the Eagles’ offense,” ESPN’s Stephen A. Smith expressed on Monday. “Jalen Hurts is a winner. He found a way. But the reality is, when you look at the potency of the Dallas Cowboys, when you look at the potency of offenses in the NFC North, when you look at the NFC West, you see a plethora of teams that can end up looking much better than the Philadelphia Eagles if they don’t figure it out.”
The Eagles, who are now 2-0, are preparing to take on the Chicago Bears in a “Monday Night Football” clash during Week 3.
