Ella Langley’s romantic life is now less of a mystery with news of her relationship with fellow country music star Tucker Wetmore. Attempts to keep their romance discreet failed after they were seen exiting the Nashville Songwriter Awards together, sparking interest from observers.
According to sources, including an insider speaking to The Sun, Tucker waited backstage during the awards, and both artists left the venue secretly. However, their departure was captured on camera, bringing speculation into the public eye.
Reports to People magazine confirmed the couple’s relationship, nearly a year after rumors first appeared when they were seen in the British Virgin Islands in December 2025. Further appearances together, including a joint performance at a charity event in March 2026, fueled ongoing speculation about their connection.
The relationship may have blossomed from mutual friendships and industry connections, given their shared Nashville circles. Langley’s career grew rapidly, transitioning from an Alabama singer-songwriter to a major force in country music. She gained attention with her single ‘If You Have To’ on TikTok, debuted at the Grand Ole Opry in 2023, and released her album ‘Hungover’ in 2024. Her duet with Riley Green topped Billboard’s Country Airplay chart, achieving a Musical Event of the Year award at the 2024 CMA Awards.
Langley continued to climb the charts with her second album ‘Dandelion’ in 2026, while her breakout single ‘Choosin’ Texas’, co-written with Miranda Lambert and others, achieved historic success by spending 23 consecutive weeks at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100.
Wetmore, whose early interest lay in sports, attended Montana Technological University playing college football while studying business and information technology. After an injury, he shifted his focus to music, releasing hits like ‘Wine Into Whiskey’, which found success on the Billboard Hot 100 and achieved platinum certification. His debut album ‘What Not To’ arrived in April 2025, earning him nominations for ACM’s new male artist of the year.
Despite their public success, both Langley and Wetmore have maintained a relatively private personal life. Langley previously dated John Sansone in late 2025 and had public speculation around a possible romance with duet partner Riley Green, which both denied, confirming they were simply friends.
Wetmore was involved in a relationship with social media star Bryana Ferringer, who featured in his ‘Wind Up Missin’ You’ music video, before reports connected him to Langley.
