The Defense Department added 37 more wounded personnel to the ongoing conflict in Iran. This brings the total number of those injured since the conflict began to 861. The update includes 29 Navy sailors and eight Marines.
The update came without an explanation from the Defense Department. This information was gathered from the Pentagon’s Defense Casualty Analysis System (DCAS), which tracks personnel casualties during U.S. conflicts and military operations overseas.
This new data reflects the continuing impact of the conflict on U.S. military personnel.
