Are you ready to challenge The Athletic’s expert writers, a data algorithm, or even a dog in predicting the winners of the World Cup matches this summer? Here’s your opportunity. Participate in our soccer pick’em game to make your daily predictions and compete to achieve the longest Streak across 104 games.
How Does It Work?
Your goal is to build the longest Streak by accurately predicting as many tournament matches as possible in a row. Your Streak will end if you make an incorrect prediction, but you can start again and aim for a new Streak.
Additional Features
Within our pick’em hub, you can compare your stats with The Athletic’s soccer experts, Elias Burke and Andy Jones. Both will predict each game, providing insights into their reasoning in daily articles. Additionally, you’ll face competition from our special guests, including Wilf, a soccer-enthusiast six-year-old, Stanley the dog, The Algo prediction machine, and various other subscribers. The leaderboard is available anytime for you to check the longest streaks in the game.
