Pitt’s acting journey began with soap operas, notably “Another World” and “Dallas.” After guest roles, his breakthrough came with “Thelma & Louise” in 1991 as a cowboy character. This launched him into Hollywood’s elite, leading to notable films like “A River Runs Through It,” “Interview with the Vampire: The Vampire Chronicles,” and “Legends of the Fall.” His performance in “12 Monkeys” in 1995 earned him a Golden Globe.
In addition, Pitt starred in “Fight Club,” “Troy,” “Mr. & Mrs. Smith,” “The Curious Case of Benjamin Button,” “Megamind,” “World War Z,” “Fury,” and “The Big Short.” A hallmark of his career is the “Ocean’s” series, where he played Rusty Ryan, an accomplice to George Clooney’s Danny Ocean. On a personal note, Pitt married actress Jennifer Aniston in 2000, but the marriage ended in 2005. On the set of “Mr. & Mrs. Smith,” he met Angelina Jolie. Following his divorce from Aniston, he began dating Jolie, and they married in August 2014. However, the marriage ended in 2016. Their divorce led to prolonged custody disputes over their six children, including adopted sons Maddox and Pax, and adopted daughter Zahara. They also have three biological children: Shiloh, born in 2006, and twins Knox and Vivienne, born in 2008.
Pitt also made headlines in 2022 when he sued Jolie for selling her stake in their shared estate, Château Miraval in France.
