Aaron Rodgers Addresses Gossip Surrounding Teammate Drew Allar

Aaron Rodgers recently took a moment to address some gossip surrounding fellow Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Drew Allar. During a podcast appearance on “Not Just Football with Cam Heyward,” Rodgers commented on the alleged “racy” direct messages linked to Allar. These messages, supposedly released in 2025, were attributed to Allar, who entered the Steelers organization after being drafted in the third round in 2026.

Rodgers humorously referred to the situation: “For those pop culture enthusiasts, there’s a DM thread about Drew. He wanted me to clarify it’s fiction. It’s a little racy,” Rodgers said, noting the messages went viral last year. Despite this, Rodgers emphasized Allar’s long-standing relationship with his girlfriend, Emma Bush. The couple has been together since high school, and their relationship remains strong, as evidenced by Bush’s recent TikTok video celebrating seven years together.

Rodgers reflected on his initial reaction upon hearing Allar’s name, recalling the DM scandal. He detailed how such rumors circulate quickly within quarterback rooms. “Quarterback rooms are like that,” he stated, referring to how quickly news spreads among players.

Further praising Allar, Rodgers stressed how well the rookie handled himself in the NFL environment. Rodgers recounted asking Allar if the DM incident ever caused him trouble. Allar responded confidently about his stable relationship with Bush, demonstrating his ability to manage personal life amidst public scrutiny.

Rodgers expressed enthusiasm regarding his final NFL season with the Steelers, labeling the current QB room—which includes Mason Rudolph, Will Howard, and Allar—as one of his favorites.
