A situation of panic and confusion emerged at a Spanish theme park on Saturday following an accident on a Batman-themed roller coaster. The ride caused a visitor to suffer fractures in both legs, according to local reports.
The incident took place on the Batman Gotham City Escape ride at Parque Warner Madrid. The theme park made an announcement about the situation on X, formerly known as Twitter.
The injured rider, a 49-year-old, sustained an open fracture in his left leg and a closed fracture in his right leg, confirmed by emergency officials, as reported by Europa Press.

This roller coaster, opened in 2023, is Spain’s first multi-launch model. It features three high-speed launches and four inversions where riders briefly hang upside down.
Park officials confirmed that the ride was halted immediately, and emergency procedures were swiftly executed. The affected person was attended to immediately by emergency medical services,
stated Parque Warner.
The injured rider was airlifted to a nearby hospital, according to Europa Press. Another visitor, Juan José Molina, expressed that panic ensued among park attendees. There were people crying and having anxiety attacks,
he noted.

Parque Warner has decided to keep the roller coaster closed pending a thorough review in collaboration with regulatory authorities.
