Authorities Search for Missing Illinois Woman Alyssa Smith

Authorities are actively searching for Alyssa Smith, a 24-year-old woman from Illinois, who has been missing for over a week. Smith was last seen on September 30 after a trip to Chicago with her boyfriend, and she hasn’t returned home since.

The Palatine Police Department reports that Smith’s mother has confirmed her disappearance. She has been actively posting on social media, sharing flyers and expressing a desperate plea for her daughter’s safe return.

Smith’s boyfriend, Jacob Ray Caso, traveled to Chicago with her but came back alone. Her mother, Rebecca Smith, informed Fox News Digital about this situation. Caso shared a missing person poster on social media, urging Smith to return home, assuring her that no one is upset with her. He has not been accused of any crime or misconduct related to the disappearance.

Detectives from the Palatine Police are vigorously investigating Smith’s case. They are following up on leads regarding potential sightings. She was possibly seen on October 3 in Chicago’s Grant Park area and near Cicero Avenue and Roosevelt Road. Police are working to confirm these sightings and collect more information.

According to her social media, Smith is employed at a Chipotle. She is described as a White female, approximately 5 feet 5 inches tall, weighing between 135 to 140 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes. She has multiple body piercings and tattoos, including a distinctive ‘Pennywise’ clown tattoo on her left shoulder. At the time she went missing, she might have been wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt, light khaki-colored pants or sweatpants, and white Adidas sneakers.

Authorities urge anyone who sees her or has details about her whereabouts to contact their local law enforcement or dial 911.
