Actor Ben Stiller, a prominent fan of the New York Knicks, frequently enjoys games from a courtside position. On Monday evening, he was among several high-profile fans, including Timothée Chalamet, Spike Lee, and Tracy Morgan, as they watched the Knicks secure a series victory against the Cleveland Cavaliers. This success marked the Knicks’ first advance to the NBA Finals in 27 years.

After the game, Stiller shared multiple social media posts. One notable post included a video he personally recorded of the game’s closing moments. Accompanying the video was a broom emoji, symbolizing their victory. The footage showcased the handshake between Mike Brown and Kenny Atkinson at midcourt and captured reactions from excited Knicks players following their win.

A few hours later, around 1 a.m. ET, Stiller posted again, this time sharing a screenshot of his phone’s lock screen, displaying a photo of Karl-Anthony Towns. Alongside it, he proclaimed, “It’s 1 a.m. KNICKS ARE EASTERN CONFERENCE CHAMPS.”

The Knicks will now enjoy a brief rest period before the NBA Finals commence on June 3. They will compete against the winner of the Western Conference Finals. The series, involving the San Antonio Spurs and Oklahoma City Thunder, stands tied at 2-2. The team advancing will have the home-court advantage over New York, due to their better regular-season record. As a result, Madison Square Garden will host its first NBA Finals game in Game 3.
