Carrie Underwood entered the music world in 2005 after winning the singing competition show, American Idol. Her talent quickly earned her a large collection of awards. She was born on March 10, 1983, to Carole and Stephen Underwood.
Underwood’s debut album, Some Hearts, was released in 2005. It featured the popular hit “Before He Cheats.” She has since released several albums, including Carnival Ride, Play On, Blown Away, Storyteller, Cry Pretty, My Gift, My Savior, and her 2022 release Denim & Rhinestones.
Her success has brought her numerous awards, such as Grammys, ACM Awards, CMT Music Awards, CMA Awards, and American Music Awards. She hosted the CMA Awards for 12 consecutive years.
In 2008, Underwood joined the esteemed Grand Ole Opry. She also holds the distinction of being the first artist to perform at the Resorts World Theatre in Las Vegas for her ongoing residency, Reflection: The Las Vegas Residency.
Apart from her music career, Underwood founded the fitness brand CALIA by Carrie Underwood. She authored a fitness book titled Find Your Path: Honor Your Body, Fuel, Your Soul and Get Strong with the Fit52 Life. In 2020, she launched her fitness app, fit52.
