The next Chicago mayoral election is scheduled for February 23, 2027. As of now, ten candidates have officially announced their campaigns, and more may declare in the coming months. The race includes both seasoned political figures and newcomers. If no candidate secures over 50% of the vote, a runoff between the top two candidates will occur on April 6, 2027, with the inauguration to follow in May.
