In France, the Eiffel Tower was illuminated in red, white, and blue as a tribute to the lasting friendship between the two nations.

German Chancellor Friedrich Merz celebrated the founding principles of freedom, democracy, and responsibility, emphasizing the indispensability of the transatlantic partnership.
“Especially in challenging times, our transatlantic partnership remains indispensable,” he wrote.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy referred to the American Dream as a powerful influence on the world, highlighting the defense of freedom and the pursuit of happiness.
Russian President Vladimir Putin extended well wishes, focusing on health, well-being, and prosperity for U.S. citizens.
Celebrations and Partnerships
The Statue of Liberty was honored with a tribute by the FDNY, complementing an international parade of tall sailing ships in New York Harbor. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu acknowledged the U.S. as a guarantor of global freedom and praised the close ties between the nations.
