A controversial influencer known as “Clavicular” is facing serious charges in Massachusetts. Braden Peters, aged 20, is accused of raping and drugging a woman who says she was 17 at the time. The incident allegedly occurred on May 23, 2025, at Peters’ family home in Chatham on Cape Cod.
The teen claims she met Peters through Instagram and was invited to his home to create content focused on “looksmaxxing,” a trend aiming to enhance physical appearance. She asserts that Peters was livestreaming on Twitch during the encounter, instructing her to claim she was 18 and refer to alcohol as “water.” Clips from his Twitch account reportedly show her saying, “Wait, I’m so drunk though,” prior to a kiss with Peters. The teen alleges they later had sex and another encounter occurred without her consent the next morning.
A judge found probable cause for the charges on September 4, and an official complaint was filed on September 8 in Orleans District Court. Peters has been summoned to appear in court on October 14.
Peters’ representative, Mitchell Jackson, denies the allegations, suggesting timing issues with a separate civil lawsuit may have influenced the victim’s police report. Meanwhile, Peters took to social media, sharing messages he believes substantiate his innocence.
The alleged victim reportedly did not immediately approach authorities, citing embarrassment and fear of disclosing the incident to her grandparents. It took over a year before she decided to involve the police.
This Massachusetts case adds to Peters’ legal challenges. Earlier this year, he faced charges in Florida for allegedly shooting a gun at a dead alligator during a livestream and was also arrested on battery charges linked to a confrontation between two women.
Peters has gained an online following through his “looksmaxxing” content, putting focus on enhancing physical attractiveness. His current legal issues continue to draw attention.
