Ivanka Trump Celebrates Grandmother’s 100th Birthday
Members of the Trump family gathered for a significant celebration recently. Ivanka Trump shared insights into the event marking her maternal grandmother’s 100th birthday, Marie Zelníčková, affectionately known as “Babi.” Ivanka, 44, posted photos online capturing four generations of family members coming together.
The milestone celebration took place on Saturday, September 26, at Ivanka’s Miami home. Zelníčková was surrounded by her three grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren. Ivanka described the gathering as “incredibly special” and a reflection of a lasting family legacy.
A formal portrait captured Zelníčková among her relatives. Ivanka appeared alongside her husband, Jared Kushner, and their three children: Arabella, 15, Joseph, 12, and Theodore, 10. Eric Trump and his wife, Lara Trump, attended with their children, Luke, 9, and Carolina, 7. Donald Trump Jr. was joined by his wife, Bettina Anderson, and his five children from a previous marriage.
The celebration was tinged with emotion due to the absence of Ivanka’s mother, Ivana Trump, who passed away in July 2022 at age 73. Ivanka noted her mother’s presence was felt through the stories shared and the love for the family.
Ivanka paid tribute to her grandmother, highlighting the influence Zelníčková has had across generations. “Babi, your century of love has shaped generations and lives in every one of us,” Ivanka shared.
Previously, Ivanka spoke about her close bond with her grandmother, who helped raise her and now lives with her family. In an appearance on “The Diary of a CEO” podcast, Ivanka described her grandmother as “unbelievably nurturing” and having her in their home as “a blessing.” She expressed deep affection for Zelníčková.
Reflecting on her mother’s passing and her grandmother’s aging, Ivanka emphasized the importance of cherishing family and time. “You can’t take things for granted in life,” she stated, acknowledging life’s valuable lessons.
