Fox News national correspondent Bryan Llenas reports on ongoing jury deliberations in the Lindsay Clancy trial. Questions arise over the panel’s ability to reach a unanimous verdict. Defense claims a juror refuses to adhere to the reasonable doubt law.
The jury in the Lindsay Clancy case has ended its sixth day of deliberations without a verdict. Deliberations will resume Friday, amid a dispute involving a dissenting juror. The jury consists of nine women and three men. They have reported being deadlocked twice.
Judge William Sullivan will address the dispute on Friday. Earlier, defense attorney Kevin Reddington attempted to remove a juror. The jury foreperson reported that the juror refused to follow the court’s reasonable doubt instructions. Reddington warned the case might end without a verdict.

Prosecutors objected to removing a juror, emphasizing the difficulty in assessing who is right without invading the jury’s discussions. Sullivan considered removing a juror a sensitive issue, stating the court must remain neutral.
After the proceedings, Reddington noted an 11-to-1 division in a jury note. The note did not specify the stance of the majority or the dissenting juror.

Reddington announced Sullivan will hold an inquiry at 9 a.m. Friday. A mistrial could occur if jurors again report a deadlock. Reddington anticipates that discussions on the jury issue will occur in open court.
Asked about a retrial’s impact, Reddington confidently responded, “Bring it.” He asserted his preparedness with evidence and witnesses, including Dr. Resnick.
Reddington suggested prosecutors might delay another trial but expressed readiness to proceed. Decisions on a potential plea agreement await a response from Plymouth County District Attorney Timothy Cruz.
Lindsay Clancy faces three first-degree murder counts for the deaths of her children, Cora, Dawson, and Callan. The jurors will determine her criminal responsibility. Prosecutors argue Clancy knew her actions, while her attorneys claim postpartum psychosis impaired her judgment.
The jury considers verdicts ranging from first-degree murder to not guilty by reason of lack of criminal responsibility.
