Man Stabbed During Fight on Chicago Transit Authority Blue Line
A 36-year-old man suffered multiple stab wounds in a violent altercation on a Chicago Transit Authority Blue Line train. The incident occurred Wednesday night in the Loop neighborhood, as confirmed by Chicago police.
The altercation took place shortly before 7:30 p.m. while the train was on the 500 block of South LaSalle Street. During the fight, the man sustained injuries to his neck and the left side of his body from a sharp object, according to the police report.
After the stabbing, the suspect fled the scene. The injured man was subsequently taken to Stroger Hospital, where he was reported to be in fair condition.
Law enforcement officials are currently investigating the case to gather more details about the assailant and the circumstances leading to the attack.
