Moose Street Fight in Colorado: A Spectacular Show

If you find yourself near a moose street fight, observe from the safety of your vehicle at a respectful distance. A video shared by Colorado meteorologist Joe Ruch showcases two massive bull moose engaged in a fierce battle in the heart of the street, filmed from inside a car.

The peaks of rutting season in Colorado see frequent clashes of antlers among moose. However, witnessing one being thrown onto the pavement is not common. The battle scene unfolds in Steamboat Springs, where one moose lands on its back after a vigorous exchange, signaling the end of the fight.

The footage begins with the conclusion of the clash and then rewinds to earlier moments of the entanglement between the moose. As the moose grapple, they tumble to the side of a small hill, from where the final confrontation unfolds. Charging back toward the street, one moose overpowers the other, leading to the decisive slam on the pavement.

After the slam, the fallen moose regains footing and opts to retreat, clearly uninterested in continuing the skirmish. The raw sounds captured in the video emphasize the intensity of the moose brawl, underscoring why staying safe inside your vehicle is advisable.

The impressive spectacle invites observers to enjoy the dramatic show at a safe distance, with roar of the clash echoing the power of nature. Sean Joseph reports for OutKick.
