An early clinical trial revealed that one-third of patients with advanced lung cancer experienced tumor shrinkage. Larger trials are currently in progress to confirm these findings. The trial targeted individuals with advanced non-small-cell lung cancer who had previously undergone standard treatments, including chemotherapy.

This breakthrough offers potential new avenues for treatment in a patient population that has faced limited options.
