Samantha Busch Expresses Gratitude for Support Following Kyle Busch’s Passing

Concord, N.C. — Samantha Busch, wife of the late NASCAR champion Kyle Busch, who passed away at 41, has thanked fans for their overwhelming support. In a heartfelt Instagram message on Friday, Samantha Busch and children Brexton and Lennix expressed gratitude for the kindness shown by others during this tragic time.

“The prayers, messages, flowers, meals, hugs, and countless acts of kindness have carried us through the most heartbreaking days of our lives,” the message stated.

Kyle Busch died on May 21 after pneumonia led to sepsis, causing severe complications. His death certificate noted he had pneumonia for several days prior. The NASCAR community was deeply affected by the sudden loss.

Despite health issues, Busch continued racing, believing he had a sinus cold during the May 10 event at Watkins Glen. He won the Truck Series race at Dover and finished 17th in the All-Star race five days before his death. He even attended a go-kart track opening with Brexton shortly before passing.

Friday’s social media post marked the first public statement from his family since his passing. Samantha Busch highlighted the impact Kyle had on those around him.

“The love during this unimaginable time has brought comfort amidst the pain,” she wrote. “Your acts of generosity are a testament to how special Kyle is to many.”

Samantha expressed profound appreciation to all who supported their family.

“From family and friends to fans and strangers, thank you for loving Kyle. We are deeply grateful,” she added.

Kyle Busch was a distinguished figure in NASCAR, winning Cup Series championships in 2015 and 2019. As the younger brother of Kurt Busch, Kyle achieved 234 combined victories across NASCAR’s top three series, including 63 Cup wins, 102 O’Reilly Auto Parts victories, and 69 Truck wins.
